Inflammatory Bowel Disease is mainly of two types

1) Ulcerative colitis

2) crohn's disease

What are the symptoms?

Main symptoms are

Abdominal pain

Diarrhea

Bleeding in stools

Weight loss

How can Ulcerative colitis and crohn's disease can be diagnosed?

It can be diagnosed with blood investigation, stool reports as well as colonoscopy.

Biopsy is needed to confirm the diagnosis.
